Each trick is a valuable tool, enhancing communication and cooperation between you and your pup. Watch your dog’s confidence soar as they master new skills in a fun, challenging, and rewarding environment.
As an extra bonus, SmartyPup! offers the opportunity to earn an AKC Trick Dog title. Our classes cover at least 10 of the required behaviors, and our AKC-approved evaluators can check off your accomplishments during class. No additional test is necessary!
What you'll learn
• Gimme Four: Teach your dog to give you their paw.
• Touch/Target: Train your dog to touch or target objects on command.
• Find It: Develop your dog's ability to locate hidden items.
• Get In, Get On: Learn commands for your dog to get into or onto specified places.
• AKC Novice Tricks
What to bring
• Your Dog: They must wear a collar with an ID tag.
• 6-foot Flat Leash: Non-retractable leashes are not allowed.
• Hands-free Reward Pouch: Also known as a bait bag, for carrying treats and tools.
• Enthusiasm: Bring your energy and readiness to learn!
